Innovation. Performance. Beauty.
I came into tattooing with the promise to contribute.
I saw I had something to offer the tattooing community.
When it comes to my tattooing equipment, my promise is that I will only produce what is needed and solve the issues of what is lacking.
There are plenty of "plug and play" machines on the market designed for beginners with poor training.
In contrast, I am here to serve those looking for the instrument for intentional, efficient, precision tattooing.
As machine building takes away from my time to tattoo, I find it crucial that I am able to express my artistic side through the design and aesthetic of my equipment. These machines are more than a tool. They are a work of art. They are intended to become an extension of your hand. To be dialed in to how you want to tattoo.
Just like driving a well built motorcycle down a beautiful winding road, I want you to have that same visceral experience when using my machine. It becomes less about the destination, but the ride itself: and time flies when you're having fun!
About our production. It is quality over quantity. We are focused on both innovative new machines, as well as bespoke staples from the stable. Machines are manufactured either in house by myself, or at my affiliated local counterpart machine shop; consisting of Kansas City's most esteemed machinists.
Once a machine has stood the test of time, it becomes licensed to Workhorse Irons; while still manufactured by my trusted machinists. This template allows for us to keep a small, yet focused menu which translates into the best possible experience for both you and us.
On top of having this structure, DK Rotary has our European front covered by Greg Howie, a resident tattoo artist in France. Greg started as a certified repair technician circa 2022. In 2024, Greg took on a larger role in doing the assembly and finishing work for our machines sold by DK Europe. This allows for better pricing and tax advantages for our European customers.
Our current lineup of in house machines is the 46er and V7. In June of 2024, my wife Adrienne unexpectedly passed away. In order to keep things going, DK Rotary co-licenced Workhorse Irons to assemble and distribute these machines as well.
We have an exciting new lineup of machines in the works, but in the meantime, we will be focused on putting the utmost attention into these models that come from our site.
Workhorse Irons is currently handling the Sidewinder V3r model, Mojobox, MCi, Ghostdog Revival, and sharing rights to sell the 46er and V7 Sidewinders as well.
