Disposability While Maintaining Eco-Consciousness!

The barrier system protects the grip from contamination, removing the need for autoclaving grips between sessions. However, it’s still recommended to wipe down the grip with a sterilant as part of your cleanup routine. Provides the ability to have disposability while eliminating the bulk waste of cartridges and plastic tubes.

Lets talk about setup...

1. Attach the Grip to Your Machine

Start by mounting the reusable Swift Tip grip onto your machine as you would with any standard grip.

This grip is designed to stay on your machine during use (as long as you are using a front loaded tubevice.).

2. Apply a Barrier Sleeve

You can use a standard clip cord sleeve folded over the grip, or use the poly bags provided with your Swift Tip kit.

Slide the barrier bag over the grip completely to ensure full coverage.

This step helps eliminate the need for autoclaving between sessions.

3. Insert the Swift Tip

Take your disposable Swift Tip.

Locate the alignment grooves on both the tip and the grip.

Line them up, then squeeze and push the tip straight in until it snaps securely into place.

4. Set Up Your Needle

Prep your needle as usual (bent, looped, and checked).

Insert it into the grip/tip setup carefully.

At this point, your entire configuration should be fully barriered and ready for use.

Adjust Grip Comfort (Optional)

If you'd like a thicker grip feel, wrap a paper towel around the grip or add a few layers of Coflex tape.

Wrap to your desired comfort level and secure firmly.
