No Lube necessary!
Average voltage: 5-7 volts. Please don’t exceed 8 volts.
Technically, the motor should spin counter-clockwise, but it really doesn’t matter.
The stroke is ADJUSTABLE!! Search Youtube: mc-14 stroke adjustment Basically, there are 3 screw holes on the flywheel, with a dimple next to it to signify which offset it is. One dimple: approx 3.2mm: for smoother shading and fine line Two dimples: approx 4 mm: (Default setup) all around shading and lining Three dimples: approx 4.8 mm: Mainly for larger grouping liners.
When adjusting the stroke, use the 1.5mm allen key to stick through the side hole on the flywheel to lock it in place. The motors have a flat on them, so the allen key will lock in the flywheel in place. you then simply unscrew the screw on the bearing and screw it into the desired hole.
There are two different hit options: semi dampened, and rigid. I typically send them out dampened. You will see two o-rings on the nipple post on the a-bar.
To set it for a rigid hit, remove the o-rings, and push the nylon shoulder washer (shoulder first) on to the a-bar nipple. The shoulder will slide into the brass section of the a-bar. You will then need to put one of the o-rings back on for proper needle spacing. Enjoy your machine!
